句型“Were/Had/Should+主语+谓语其他部分+……，+主句”属于省去“if”的虚拟条件状语从句所引起的倒装。当“if”虚拟条件状语从句的谓语动词中含有“were、had、could、should”，则可以将if省去，而将从句的主语置于“were、had、should、could”后，翻译为“如果……，就……”。
