ZHU MIN

Zhu Min is the current President of Tsinghua University's National Institute of Financial Research and Executive Director of the Board of the World Economic Forum. Zhu was Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund from July 2011 to July 2016. Prior to that, he was Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China and Vice-President of the Bank of China. He also worked at the World Bank and taught economics at Johns Hopkins University and Fudan University. Zhu received a BA in economics from Fudan University, an MPA from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and an MA and PhD in economics from Johns Hopkins University. His awards include the 2014 China Economic Personage of the Year, the 2015 You Bring Charm to the World Award, and the 2016 CFV 10-Year Prominent Global Financial Figures Award.
